Research

Vocal Function Lab (PI: Dr. Tanya Eadie)

  • Completing a Masters Thesis with Dr. Eadie

  • Conducted an undergraduate research project (“Does scale type affect reliability in perceptual ratings of voice quality?”), mentored by Dr. Eadie and Mara Kapsner-Smith, MS CCC-SLP. Our findings were presented at 2018 ASHA Convention, Fall Voice, and UW’s Undergraduate Research Symposium.

  • As a paid Research Assistant:

    • Edited audio files for use in auditory-perceptual studies using Sony Sound Forge.

    • Prepared and sent surveys/reminders for Head & Neck Cancer study.

    • Entered data from completed HNC surveys into Assessment Center.
